The coating on the screen is the same one used by ViewSonic and Samsung on some of their monitor models and is a matte finish. There is very little glare coming from the screen since it’s not covered with a glossy coat that tends to cast reflections onto the screen in bright lighting conditions.

The PLS panel can produce 16.7 million different colors. Colors are bright and vivid but due to the screen coating they don’t appear overwhelming. Looks like a superstar
Really – this monitor is a beauty. It has a bezel of dark gray that looks somewhat understated and dignified. This bezel is only 21 mm thick along the sides and the top of the screen. At the bottom it’s slightly thicker with the Asus logo that we’ve all come to recognize throughout the years. The monitor can stand on its black plastic base that’s rectangular in shape or you may choose to hang up the screen as well.
